Sales Management: Analyzed business needs of FMCG and Fashion Retail clients in the GCC. Actively built a solid client base aligned with organizational strategies by applying a consultative sales methodology. Managed customer’s expectations successfully by providing very detailed proposals involving core functions and supporting experts such as Procurement, Tender, QHSE and Customs Department. Clients among others: Christian Dior Couture, Fendi, L’Oreal, Adidas, Al Boom Marine, Retail Corp/ Marka Retail, Chalhoub Group, PepsiCo, Reckitt Benckiser, P&G Prestige, Stanley Black & Decker.

Project Management: Directed the implementation of End-2-End logistics services from initiating to closing process group. Translated and broke down SOWs involving Product Managers, Operations and IT. Reviewed contracts involving Legal and Finance teams. Executed the project integration by coordinating and communicating effectively with all stakeholders (formal and informal) using the available tools and by creating SOP/ SLAs. Closed projects with approval by functional manager. Merchandising: Aligned and implemented the Marketing strategy of 2 brands (DIM, Chantal Thomass) for the Swiss target market. Selected product ranges for 3 divisions (intimates, nightwear, beachwear) based on profound research, budget, product and VM availability. Established a comprehensive retail price architecture across brand divisions and product categories. Intangible benefits: Improved brand perception by conducting appealing product presentations and sales trainings in German and French. Coordinated trade shows with the PR agency.

Planning: Reported Annual and Promotional Plan per division and brand to the Country Management. Reported Open-To-Buy Plan (SKU level) based on 5 key accounts (Jelmoli, Globus, Manor, Migros, Coop) to the Central Planning Department. Orchestrated the execution of the Promotional Plan at >100 touch points across 4 merchandising channels (department stores, hypermarkets, value chains and boutiques).

Commercial Achievements: Increased success of promotional sales by +30% vs. previous year with hypermarket channels (Migros, Coop) as well the customer conversion rate through retail loyalty programs. Increased purchase orders by creating sales catalogues, press clippings and visuals in line with the brand standards. Annual retail sales in 2010 (YTD) >CHF 8 mio.
